Performance horses are my passion, as an active exhibitor and
breeder of reining horses I understand the sacrifices as well as the
financial and emotional investment of today's horse person.

Education
My goal is to be the best at what I do, whether it's showing my horses, or educating people about their
insurance needs, many agents feel that educating the client is a drain on their time or a burden. The
fact is, no one wants to pay for something if they are unsure of what they are getting for their dollar.

I understand that insurance is not an exciting topic, but I feel that an educated client is the most
satisfied client.

Service
I feel that service is the heart of any business, especially in a time of need, there is no excuse for poor
service. Much of my new business comes from those that have experienced poor service from another
agent or agency. The only price that can be put on service is the price paid for poor service.

Knowledge
My years in the horse business have taught me that anything that may happen probably will, never
assume the worst can't happen to you.

There are so many variables that we in the horse world must deal with; death, disease or injury of our
horse, the added liability of owning a horse, be it at home, the training barn, or at a show, the liability of
owning or leasing an equine facility, the liability associated with the instruction of others, as well as
holding shows or clinics.

These are all issues that non-horse people are usually not aware of, I find that many insurance agents
and agencies do not understand these issues because they do not have an equine background and
therefore have not experienced these exposures or risks first hand.
